This Privacy Notice explains how HelloCues (the "Seller", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use HelloCues Method (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for personal data collected through the Service.

Personal data we collect

• Account data: name, email, login credentials, date of creation.
• Grooming profile: age, beard length, skin type, climate, workout frequency, goals.
• Check-in data: photos you upload, coach-generated observations, scores, notes.
• Routine and habit data: which routine steps and weekly actions you complete.
• Reminder preferences: cadence, email opt-in, device push opt-in.
• Usage & technical data: device identifiers, IP address, telemetry, error logs.
• Support messages: content of messages you send us.

How we use it

• Providing the Service and generating personalized recommendations (contract performance).
• Sending reminders you have enabled (contract performance / consent).
• Security, abuse prevention, and error monitoring (legitimate interests).
• Improving the Service (legitimate interests).
• Customer support (contract performance).

AI processing of photos

When you submit a weekly check-in, your photo is sent to our AI provider(s) solely to generate the coach observations shown back to you. Photos are stored in your private account bucket and are not used to train external models.

Sharing your data

We share personal data with these categories of recipients:

• Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, storage, analytics, email delivery, AI providers, and error monitoring.
• Payment processor (Stripe): for subscription checkout, billing, tax calculation, invoicing, and payment method management.
• Professional advisers: legal, accounting, or auditors, as reasonably needed.
• Authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights.

International transfers

Personal data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service and to comply with legal obligations. On account deletion your profile, check-ins, and photos are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights by contacting us via the in-app support option. EU/UK residents have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, authenticated access, and least-privilege backend controls — to protect your personal data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
